Battle League #1 in sales in France despite falling to #3 in the UK

Nonetheless, regional sales charts are a great way to understand the demands of a specific audience. They include information on video game sales from all major platforms.

For example, the recent Mario Strikers: Battle League on Nintendo Switch received positive reception. Despite complaints about the lack of content, the lack of a single player, and the scarcity of the launch character roster. The third installment in the Mario Strikers series was released worldwide on June 10, 2022.

This is the series’ first new entry in over a decade. Moving away from realism, the title offers exaggerated chaotic fun in the manner of Mario Strikers. Mario Strikers: Battle League offers hours of multiplayer and cooperative experience and can be played to ease your mind with more mayhem. The wild football experience elevated the slow weeks and caused a buzz in the community.

The title has climbed the sales charts in France, as shared by the SELL (Syndicate of Leisure Software Publishers). The title stole the top spot, eclipsing hit titles like The Quarry and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Additionally, recent GamesIndustry.biz video game sales charts reveal the best-selling titles of the week in the UK. Mario Strikers: Battle League topped the charts in the UK in week one. However, the game fell off the top and sank to third place the following week.

Horizon Forbidden West dominates the fierce competition, occupying the top spot after falling from third position. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga takes second place, same as last week. Nintendo’s first-party Nintendo Switch games continue to rank in the top five.
