Dragon Quest Builders 2 Nintendo Switch Online Trial Starts Today

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is the final game trial offered to members of Nintendo Switch Online. Starting today, April 20, players will have a week to play the block-building RPG’s unlimited demo and can even attempt to complete the entire game if they wish.

When is the trial version of Dragon Quest Builders 2 available?

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is available for Nintendo Switch Online members from todayon April 20, and the trial will continue until 11:59 p.m. PT April 26. Players can download the game by heading to the Nintendo eShop, selecting Nintendo Switch Online from the left menu, and selecting the Game Trial event.

The trial will allow players access to the full game, including online co-op with other game trial participants and those who own the full game, but only during the trial period. Any progress made during the week will carry over to the full version of the game if players decide to make a purchase afterwards.

The game will be on sale at 40% off for the entire trial period and a few days beyond. The full game, the Season Pass and the Dragon Quest Builders 2 + Season Pass Packs are all discounted until 11:59 p.m. PT on May 3. The pass includes the Hotto Stuff Pack, Aquarium Pack, and Modernist Pack, which can also be purchased separately. Players can purchase downloadable content for the game during the trial period, but will not be able to use it after the trial ends unless they purchase the full game.

In other news, Sonic Origins and its DLC options have been detailed and SEGA has managed to make it look much more complicated than it actually is. The compilation will be released in June. Elsewhere, the latest Horizon Forbidden West patch managed to free Aloy from her base’s bathroom. I think it’s something we can all sympathize with.
