Hell Pie delayed on Nintendo Switch
Pie from Hell has been delayed on Switch, developer Sluggerfly has announced.
We initially heard that the title was set to release last Thursday. However, some of you may have noticed that it ultimately did not launch.
Sluggerfly, writing about the situation on Twitter, said “there were issues with the day one patch” on Switch. The Nintendo console is the only platform concerned. It’s not yet known how long the delay will last, but the wait probably won’t be too long considering it seems like a minor issue.
In case you missed the previous coverage, here’s some information on Hell Pie:
Hell Pie is a lewd 3D platformer that takes bad taste to the next level! The game sees you catching the horns of Nate, the “bad taste demon”. He is given the honorable task of gathering the disgusting ingredients for Satan’s infamous birthday pie. To do this, Nate must venture into the overworld and do whatever it takes to ensure these ingredients are secured in time, or there will be hell to pay!
Luckily, Nate isn’t alone in this quest, his “pet” angel Nugget is there to offer support. Nugget offers his holy insight when needed, but more importantly, he’s chained to Nate, so he can be used as a grappling hook or swing as a weapon. Nate can also equip horns he finds across the world to give him new hellish abilities.
Together, Nate and Nugget will explore insane environments, meet tons of creepy characters, and witness some truly shocking sights. Hell Pie is a seriously twisted take on the classic mascot platformer, come check it out if you think you can handle it!
Hell Pie will be sold digitally on the Switch eShop. We will communicate the new release date once we have it.
