Nintendo Direct: Here’s what you might have missed

Nintendo made all sorts of announcements during its hour-long Nintendo Direct presentation today.

There were so many announcements you might have missed some, but we’ve compiled a list of games you might have missed.

One of the announced games was It takes twowhich will finally arrive on Switch on November 4th.

Fatal Frame: Lunar Eclipse Mask was announced by Koei Tecmo, and not only will it be coming to Switch in early 2023, but it’s also coming to PC with PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

The original game, released exclusively in Japan in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii, has been remastered and will be designed to be played for the first time in Europe and North America.

It is set a decade after the mysterious disappearance of five girls during a festival on the island of Rogetsu, an island in southern Japan. While all of the girls were eventually rescued, their memories were lost, with only the faint memory of a single melody and a seemingly possessed masked woman dancing in the moonlight. The second batch of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC was shown during the presentation, and it introduces you to the new hero Ino who looks a bit mechanical. Complete her quest and she will join your party, expanding the classes and gameplay options available to you.

As part of the Expansion Pass, the DLC will also include Challenge Battles where you will test your might in consecutive battles against tough enemies. Accessories and special outfits can be earned by challenging increasingly stronger enemies.

Wave 2 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass will launch on October 13, and two more pieces of content will drop as part of the expansion until the end of 2023.

The original Tales of Symphonia, released in 2003, has been updated with HD visual enhancements, gameplay enhancements, and new features. The title should be released on PS4 Switch and Xbox One, and will be compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life gets a remake in the form of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key is coming to Switch Ryza on February 24, 2023.

Fancy a bit of boxing? Well, then you’re in for a treat when Boxing fitness: the fist of the North Star is coming to Switch in March 2023. You’ll find some familiar faces from the popular manga and anime series. Kenshiro will be your instructor in exercise mode, guiding you through various boxing drills. Defeat as many enemies as possible with your fists in the new Battle mode or face rivals in boss fights.

Master Detectives Archives: Rain Code comes to Switch in the spring of 2023 and has you investigating crimes. In the game, you will delve into the supernatural as an amnesiac detective and the spirit that haunts him. Brought to you by the creators of Danganronpa, as Yuma you will take on unsolved cases at a detective agency and thoroughly inspect crime scenes to gather clues and evidence. When you’re ready, the Shinigami spirit will conjure a realm connecting the crime scene to the truth – a mysterious labyrinth. Mystery Phantoms will try to hinder your progress during each case, so you’ll have to avoid their barrage of lies and contradictions.

Another farm game, Harvestelle, comes to Switch on November 4. As you cultivate a peaceful farm life in the village of Lethe, the season of death continually returns, threatening to destroy everything. Travel the world and find a way to end calamity in this life simulation RPG.

Later today, a demo featuring the opening days of your farm’s first season will be available on Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store. Demo save data can be transferred to the full game once purchased.

Mission before 1st: Remake and Forward Mission 2: Remake are coming to Switch. In Front Mission 1st, you’ll pilot giant machines called Wanzers in turn-based tactical combat. As you level up, you’ll gain skills that can help you get the upper hand over your opponents.

The sequel, Front Mission 2, unreleased outside of Japan, lets you enjoy additional features, such as more terrain effects, weapon and armor attributes, and over 80 new skills. You can also test your mettle in the Colosseum and use the network system to get information about events as they unfold. The remakes will launch next year. Additionally, a Front Mission 3 remake is also in the works. Stay tuned for more information in the future.

Endless dungeon is finally coming to Switch, but you’ll have to wait until next year for that. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, in this rogue-lite game you recruit a team of castaway heroes and break out of a dilapidated space station. Set in the Endless universe, you’ll have to fend off continuous waves of monsters as you fight your way through procedurally generated levels. You will also complete quests to unlock new heroes, weapons, and station areas. And you can take two friends along for the ride as it supports up to three player online co-op.

The launch date of Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 – Reunion was confirmed in today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. The game features a complete overhaul of HD graphics, a newly arranged soundtrack and an updated combat system, and begins seven years before the events of FF7 and follows Zack Fair, a young agent of Shinra Soldier. As he journeys, he uncovers the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments and the monsters they create. The game will be released on Switch, PC, and PlayStation and Xbox consoles on December 13.

Also announced during the presentation SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Jerk for release next year; a second free update for Mario Strikers: Battle Leaguemultiplayer board game OddBallers coming to Switch early next year; Symphonia Tales Remastered with improved graphics and enhanced gameplay is coming to Switch in early 2023, and Factorioa sci-fi management simulation game, has been announced for an October 28 release on the system.
