Roguelike deckbuilder ‘Castle Morihisa’ coming to Switch and PC in early 2022
Smokingbear Studio releases deckbuilding roguelike Morihisa Castle on Nintendo Switch and PC in early 2022.
Morihisa Castle takes place in a dark fantasy feudal Japan. Players will have access to over 300 maps to fight Yokai from Japanese mythology.
Make your way to the Grim Castle as one of four different classes: Monk, Samurai, Onmyoji, and Ninja, each with their own distinct deck of cards. Master the Monk’s meditation and mantra systems to stun enemies and channel karma to strengthen the armor. Shoot down enemies with the samurai katana, using Sakura and Retaliation for massive damage. Summon the Shikigami spirits and leech life with the blood magic of the Onmyoji. Hunt your downs. preys as Ninja and unleash the skills of Mantra Sign, Kunai, and Shuriken in devastating combos.
After each battle, players will receive coins which can be spent at an in-game card store. Encounters are randomly generated to ensure that each run is different. To help fight powerful enemies, players can commune with fallen warriors and harness their wits to gain powerful powers. The goal is to achieve Morihisa Castle, but each battle promises to be more difficult than the last.

Thermite Games will publish Morihisa Castle, and a free demo is available for download on Steam now.
