The best SD card deals for your Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and everything else

One of the best accessories in recent years is the micro SD card. These tiny memory cards can reach up to a terabyte or two in capacity, which is enough for most people’s entire game library.

Downloads from the Nintendo eShop are a very convenient way to save time by storing games directly on a memory card. And with just 32GB of internal storage (or 64GB if you’re lucky enough to have purchased an OLED Switch), you’ll need extra space for the games and DLCs you buy. For example, Animal Crossing New Horizons takes up around 7GB of storage, while Metroid Dread is a bit smaller at 4.5GB.

And if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on a Steam Deck anytime soon, with PC games almost always in size in the tens of gigabytes, you’ll definitely need an SD card too. Here are some of the best deals right now on micro SD cards.

There are a handful of other reliable manufacturers that make quality SD cards, with Samsung being a great alternative. However, at the time of writing, these SanDisks offer the best value per GB and, more importantly, in stock. Global technology supply issues have affected memory cards, so if you’re in the market for a memory card, be sure to buy one as soon as you see an offer.
