  • ESRB Rating: E for everyone
  • Platforms: Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch

Ori and the Blind Forest is a Metroidvania game in which you play as the young hero, Ori, venturing into the titular forest. Its stunning visual style is without a doubt what sets it apart from other games, but it is also quite difficult. In our experience, however, kids are more resilient than we give them – after all, kids would spend all summer trying to get through Super Mario World. Plus, if the kid in your life enjoyed this one, there’s a sequel: Ori and the Will of the Wisps!
