The Company Man release date set for January 2022, Switch demo released

Last month, publisher Leoful and developer Forust announced the office adventure The companion man for Nintendo Switch, a savage platform game where you wield your keyboard like a weapon as you make your way through an exotic and unruly workplace. Today, Leoful returned to announce that The companion man launches on Switch with a digital release date of January 21, 2022, and it physically launches in Asia on January 26. The companion man is available for preorder now for 10% off, and you can also download a free demo from the Switch eShop to try it out.

The game is playable in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, but with a platform game like this, the language probably wouldn’t be too much of a barrier anyway. That being said, the game is curiously inspired by the American version of the television comedy. Office, and the main character is called Jim. He’s on a quest to topple his boss and take over, which for some reason involves ice and possibly acid levels.

If you missed it the first time around, here’s the trailer for The companion man again to commemorate Switch’s January 2022 release date. It’s not your typical desktop environment.
