Tribute Games’ Wizorb is coming to Nintendo Switch

Developer and publisher Tribute Games today announced that Wizard will be released for Nintendo Switch on October 6 to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary. The brick breaker adventure will be coming to the Nintendo eShop and will cost $4.99, the very first game developed in 2012. I’ve never played this game previously from tribute games but this is something i am looking forward to.

A love letter to the action arcade games of yesteryear, Wizard takes place in the Kingdom of Gorudo. The once peaceful land has been cursed by demons, resulting in the king’s mystical demise! Cyrus, the wisest wizard in the land, is Gorudo’s only hope of salvation! Throughout their quest, players will save the kingdom by breaking bricks and destroying bullies using Wizorb’s Secret Art. Over 60 levels of enemies and obstacles will challenge players looking to free Gorudo! Hidden doors! Monstrous adversaries! Magical powers! Horrible curses! Be ready for what is unleashed in the brick-busting world of Wizard!

  • A classic arcade style block breaking game in a dynamic RPG setting;
  • Various magic spells to help you destroy blocks and enemies;
  • Over 60 levels in 5 different fantasy worlds;
  • Epic boss battles;
  • Multiple end and;
  • Character animation by Paul Robertson.

Watching the trailer and learning a bit more about the game, I love the game’s old-school action-adventure RPG style, especially the brick-busting. Any brick breaking game is so much fun and what’s special about Wizard is that there is also an RPG element that makes it even better. I like a good brick breaker game with a story. Have you ever played this game? Will this be a game you want to check out? Let me know.
